why wingwoman?

I have always valued the relationships in my life and I believe true wealth is from relationships - whether that is dear friends, family, co-workers, etc. We are made for relationships, but with the advent of social media, AI, and the Internet; I feel as if we are not more social, but rather less social. With more technology, there are more parasocial relationships where relationships have been distilled down to a one-sided connection and not experiencing the two-way street of a relationship where one feels truly known by their friends or other form of relationship. 

The impetus for starting wingwoman is largely birthed out of my love of relationship but also due to the rising rates of loneliness in America. In a nation so prosperous in a myriad of ways, in my opinion we are lacking in the true cornerstone of wealth - relationships.

According to the Stress in America Survey published in 2025 by the American Psychological Association, done by the Harris Poll, surveyed more than 3,000+ US adults ages 18 or older, and 62% reported societal division as a significant source of stress in their lives. However, with this societal division there is a deeper cut - one of loneliness. Half of adults surveyed felt isolated from others, felt left out, or have lacked companionship.

By starting wingwoman, I want all my clients to feel known and loved by their friends. Every client is different - a client could be curious about being friends with those outside their age group, or finding a new hobby and not know where to start. Every client experience is unqiue and involves nuance. 

Yes, I understand that there are apps to make friends and numerous meetup groups which are all to the good with connecting others. These are great resources once someone knows EXACTLY what they are looking for and with wingwoman; I start more granular than these resources. I start with the full person and understanding their journey and season with an approach where I get to know them in the process and help launch them in their new season of friendship.
